dc.description.abstract This study aims to study the method of Khalawi and its role in educating Muslim people in Gambia to know the extent to which this approach to educational objectives and appropriate to the needs of the students and the community and to identify the most appropriate way to teach the Quran in Khalawi and Islamic schools and the means and methods of evaluation in this approach, the importance of this research reflected in helping teachers of Quranic Khalawi in Gambia, also important to provide Almsúan the Ministry of Education and religious Affairs and Endowments some educational situations in this Khalawi Koranic. Also study aimed to identify the problems facing the approach being alone in the Gambia (such as economic problems and teaching in the traditional manner and lack of mentors technicians) It also aimed to identify the qualifications of teachers of Khalawi in Gambia and identification as well as the extent of knowledge of being alone established objectives teacher and identify the criteria that help to evaluate curriculum in Khalawi Quranic in Gambia. The researcher used the descriptive approach and style Althila that deals with the status quo and the tools used by the researcher, such as sources and references, and oral interviews and questionnaires, reports and theses The most important results: A) Researches in Khalawi method and its role in the Muslim people of Education in Gambia help to identify the problems facing the approach being alone in the state and provide some appropriate solutions through proposals. B) The researcher found that the retreat mm teacher desired goals. C) known researcher on some responsibilities of owners Kallawi in Gambia D) Researcher identify certain criteria that help evaluate performance in Khalawi Quranic in Gambia E) Many of the laboratory and the owners of Quranic Khalawi and Islamic schools in dire need of education and training courses on educational activities for the researcher recommends the following: c- The researcher recommends that the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of endowment and Religious Affairs participated in the Gambia financial support to Quranic's Khalawi resolve all or some of the economic and educational problems. - Organizing training sessions for the owners and teachers Khalawi, and Quranic and Islamic schools in the Gambia on educational activities in Khalawi and Islamic schools en_US
