Abstract:
This research aimed at studying the effect of applying the ISO
Certificate on the performance of the organization with special reference to
the Sudan Currency Printing Press Company Ltd.
The research also aimed at identifying the role of the ISO Certificate as
well as the comprehensive quality on the organizational change, development
and understanding the methods to be adopted to achieve understanding the
methods to be adopted to achieve change and continuous improvement. Also
identifying and finding solutions for obstacles, establishing and promoting the
culture of total quality as well as identifying the role required by the top
management for the application of the ISO and checking its effectiveness.
The researcher adopted the descriptive, analytical method in the study.
The study has selected the following hypotheses:
There is a positive relationship between the commitment of company to the
ISO system and meeting the requirement and satisfaction of the customers.
There is also a positive relationship between the application of the ISO
system and the reduction of production cost and increasing profits, production
of high quality goods, training of the manpower in the company contribute to
improvement of the skills of the works as well as working system and the
company's development.
The research has reached important conclusions, including among
others; that the management of total Quality is considered to be an inclusive
system of management which will enable the organization to fulfill the need
and expectations of the customers. It was also concluded that the application
of the ISO Certificate contributed in realizing the objectives of the company
as well as reducing production cost and improving the quality of its products.
The research has made several recommendations including: The top
management of the organization shall recognize the importance of the Quality
methods and shall do their best to implement them in their strategies. The
successful application of the quality administration depends greatly on the
involvement of all the works in the organization.
