Abstract

This study aims to identify the extent of the impact of management plans and maintenance programs, to improve the Productivity efficiency of the machines and know the reasons that led to the inability of machines and equipment in industrial companies to achieve rates of design, in order to reduce the low productivity of fixed assets, which constitutes. a danger to those industrial enterprises and threatens existence. The problem of the research was to find out what the extent of the role played by the management of maintenance and availability of programs, and whether these programs are implemented as required? Is there cooperation and support from senior management to maintenance management? This study is field study and descriptive analytical based on the compilation of facts and data and current information, analysis and interpretation to reach acceptable results through the questionnaire. The researcher has put of several hypotheses first, weak control plans and programs of machine maintenance leads to deterioration of working machines. Second, the failure to provide spare parts for the machines in time lead to delay maintenance operations. Third, non-technical personnel qualification, which oversees the maintenance leads to poor maintenance effectiveness. The researcher found a number of results, most notably control over the plans and maintenance programs increase the preservation of the machines. Availability of spare parts helps to accomplish maintenance operations. Attention to the rehabilitation of the technical staff increases the effectiveness of maintenance. The researcher presented a number of recommendations including the need to use the standards and performance rates for the purpose of improving the Productivity efficiency of the machines. Knowledge of the scientific basis for the application of proper maintenance systems preventive and curative. Put the capabilities and skills of workers in mind when distributing tasks of maintenance operations. The development of self-censorship for workers and to clarify their role in the maintenance of the plant and equipment.
