Abstract

This research is show up the impact of strategic management to improving the competitiveness for institutions. And the research aim to determine the range of effect for following the scientific bases in the strategic management process and optimum utilization for available resources, as well as extent the range of impact and use of strategic control systems and almanac on the success for processes and plans of strategic management, and also highlight the role that could be played entrench a culture of participation in the strategic management process to bombing the creative energies for the workers. The problem of the research point up in some of Sudanese institutions un-apply the strategic management by modern scientific concept; and that is due to the lack of knowledge for these institutions about importance and role of the strategic management, which impact negatively on achieving of competitive advantage to those institutions. The research hypotheses; put up on track of well scientific bases in the strategic management process that leads to optimal utilization for resources available within the institution, as well as provide the strategic control systems can contribute to success the strategic management processes, and also consolidating the culture of participation in the strategic management process leads to the bombing of the creative energies for the workers. The search follows the Historical Method, and Descriptive Analytical Method, and method of Case Study. The research turn up for a number of results and the most important of them; consolidating the culture of participation in the strategic management process leads to the bombing of the creative energies for the workers, as well as the application that based on the scientific foundations of strategic management within the institutions lead to optimum utilization of available resources, and also the strategic management highlights the main role in building the institutions and make them in an equilibrium with the surrounding environment. The research find out a number of recommendations and the most important; the necessity of take up institutions idea of applying strategic management system as an integrated and scientific system to solve problems and deal with changes in the internal and external environment, and also the need to make changes and ongoing amendments to the strategic plans in line with reality and change, and as well as the importance of strengthening decision support systems and supporting information for strategic planning processes, quality and improvement of performance.
