Abstract:
The study deals with the subject of the effectiveness of administrative planning in developing the performance of institutions in general, and the banking institutions in particular- applied on the Sudanese French Bank. The study’s problem lies on the absence of good and effective administrative planning which is evident by the current reality of the banking institutions because the structure of the financial and banking institutions in Sudan is weak in terms of: Capital- Personnel – The relatively new Islamic experiment in spite of Sudan’s pioneering of this experiment.
The importance of the study arises from identifying the effective administrative planning and its impact on the performance of banking institutions, and how capable are these institutions for development, modernization and use of modern strategies in order for it to keep up with, and interact with globalization.
The researcher adopted the case study method to select hypotheses of the study depending on the descriptive analytical methodology. The study hypotheses are represented in the following: There is no relationship between administrative planning and performance of the Islamic banking institutions in Sudan, not using of administrative planning leads to weak performance by banking institutions. Structuring of the banking system is lacking researches.
After the analysis process of the questionnaires; the researcher came to the following most important conclusions: The bank doesn't the continuous planning that leads to developing its performance, Little financial support is allocated for organizational structuring leading to weakness in the structures, and there are no detailed guides to clarify the workflow procedures in the bank.
The most important recommendations of the study are:
1. Institutions must adhere to the laid plans and there should be continuous plans.
2. There must be allocated financial support so it can positively help in developing organizational structures.
3. Strategic plans must be laid to develop the bank performance.
4. The bank must have a clear policy that requires hiring of scientific degrees holders in the right position.
5. Good performance at work is connected to several characteristics, but connection with the person himself is the most important; for the employee to successful in his job he must be successful first and foremost in understanding his own capabilities.
