dc.description.abstractThis study addressed the case of disease in Africa and the impact of social culture, focusing on Ebola in Liberia, Aids in Ethiopia and meningitis in Burkina Faso, for the purpose of knowing the impact of social culture factor on the disease through customs and traditions which are prevailing in these societies. The study reached a number of results, including: Modern and traditional medicine must cooperate together in Africa in order to reach Health security. It is necessary for the doctors to understand the social culture and its impact on Health. Social culture in Ethiopia, Liberia and Burkina Faso had a clear impact on awareness activities and Health education. There is a need for religious awareness, particularly the use of quackery and magic to treat some diseases through education and awareness campaigns in the societyen_US
