Abstract

This research which entitled “ALI MUHSIN BARWANIAND HIS METHODOLOGY IN THE TRANSLATION OF THE QURAN IN SWAHILI IN HIS MUNTAKHAB BOOK’’ In The Study Of The curriculum which sheikh barwani has taken in the interpretation of the quran in swahili in order to facilitate the utilization to a student when reviewing the book and stand on the bright pages of the life, of sheikh barwani and the study also enriching the Islamic, libraries. And the research of interpretation of barwani that interpretation is, on the left side of the each verse , and what is in the bracket by the margin of the book، while apart from that is not included in the research , it's just mentioned as an evidence, that is because it's not a part of barwani. Butrather translation from another bookwhich muntakhab written by the azhar committee. In this research the researcher undertook several approaches and, that is inevitable from the nature of the research، and it's among the important approaches are : historical approach disruptive approach, as well as comparative method which is used to compare between barwani’s methodology and other translators when necessary. The researcher divided his research into four chapters the first, chapter deals with the basics of the research، and the second chapter the autobiography of barwani، and in the third chapter the approach of barwani interpreting the quran in ideology and maathur. The research also dealt in the last chapter the approach of the barwani in the matters of nodal with evidence from past holly books and scriptions. It came clearly daring the course of research that the translation of barwani is an explanatory interpretation summarized without prejudice in meaning away from sectarianism، it is clear that barwani is one amongst Islamic scholars psychologically and politically.
