Abstract

Research title : The Artistic Image in the Poetry of the Poet `Abd al-Ghani al-Nabulsi. Student name : Degree : This research tackled the artistic image in the poetry of `Abd al-Ghani al-Nabulsi due to the paucity of the studies in this subject matter،the ambiguity of the artistic image and the incognizance of the present generation thereof . The research aims at investigating the artistic image in al-Nabulsi`spoetry in view of the ambiguity of the artistic image on one hand and that the poet was not honored with the studying on the other hand . The study aimed at the selection of the poet al-Nabulsi because he is the first poet، literate،author and pure mystic in that time،the profundity of al-Nabulsi`s experience and the degree of the perfection of the images in his poetry، to say nothing of al-Nabulsi as a unique literary phenomenon which deserves the acquaintance and study because he is a distinctive mark in the history of the Arabic poetry . The researcher used the historical method to shed light on the poetical course of the poet، and the descriptive/analytical for the analysis of the artistic image in his poetry in addition to the method of the objective case study which shows the aesthetics، colours and its illustrative phenomena،and the study concluded with a number of findings and recommendations.
