| dc.description.abstract | This research aimed at knowing the reasons of the academic achievement declining in mathematics – grade four, basic stage and to know the evaluation methods, its relations with this declining, also the teacher, syllabus and the pupils. The researcher used the descriptive approach; because it’s suitable for this research. The researcher used the interviews and questionnaire as the tools of the research. The most important results are: 1- the teacher plays an important role in the declining. 2- The scarcity of teaching aids in schools. 3- The pupils himself. 4- The content is not suitable for the pupils abilities and ages. Recommendations: 1- enough training for the math-teachers. 2- To establish workshops, short training rounds. 3- To supply the schools with teaching aids. 4- The curriculums setters have to reconsider the Math-content for the fourth grade, basic stage. 5- The teacher has to use continuous evaluation. | en_US |
