Abstract

The study dealt with the effectiveness of TV drama in the promotion of social values (descriptive and analytical study applied to a series of Hekayat Sudannia in the period 2017). The study aimed at reaching the effect of the intensity of the use of TV drama on the behavioral level of viewers and the nature of the value trends that were formed by watching the TV drama. The researcher used the descriptive analytical method. The researcher chose a random random sample of students and drama and media workers. Of the study was distributed to the number of 60 people and then analyzed by the statistical package for social sciences (spss) The researcher used the descriptive analytical method. The problem of the study was in the researcher's quest to learn about the role of TV drama in promoting and preserving the values of the community after the great openness among the societies of the world. The most important hypotheses that drama contributes to the promotion of social values regardless of their negative or positive The study also revealed that the media are effective means of enhancing the values of societies. The most important results of the study are that a Hekayat Sudannia proved successful in promoting many values while noting the obvious change on the Sudanese street, despite the absence of field studies to measure this change. The study also made a number of recommendations that could contribute to enriching the field of promoting TV drama in promoting social values. The influence of a series of Sudanese Tales to assess the effectiveness of drama in promoting the social ladder in the Sudanese street to help in the process of good planning for production.
