Abstract: This research aims to study the reasons for the low level of English of the eighth –grade basic stage and the proposed solutions in (Sharg Elneel) locality (Fayhaa sector). the importance of this research arises from that it deals with the students of class eight because they are in need of such research. the researcher employes the descriptive approach, using in the regard questionair and personal interviews trageting. English teachers and instructers of class eight totaling (20) teachers and (4) instructors. the research results include the following : • Exercise prescribed is not quit enough to teach student the language skills. • Not follow in the modern teaching methods in English language teaching. • Low use of Educational tactics. • Dearth of workshop and seminars. • Lack of dictionaries and reference of English. • Large number of teachers are use the Arabic language in the teaching (translation) • Doesn't fit (spine 3) with the mental level of the students and the emotional goals and desires of the students. Recommendations: • Continue the training and qualification of teachers to keep up with the flow of knowledge. • The provision of teaching aids and dictionaries of English to eighth – grade. • To encourage students to participate in activities in English and motivation.
