Abstract

This research deals with art of message -writing in the Fourth Century of Hijra, and its importance is in explaining the role played by message - writing, such that writers adopted it as a tool to communicate their various purposes whether it was an official, or a fraternity, or a political purpose, etc, destined by prosody and rhetoric and so forth. The nature of the research dictated that it should be division into three sections: The first section included two chapters, in which the researcher presented the concept Prose as a linguistic and terminological term, and also show the most important arts involved. In the second section the thesis she dealt with the message in its linguistic and terminological meaning, and found that the message most important art of Prose, which works its way to stimulate the writers sentiment, thus they redact their feelings with prosaic speech rhetoric in its meaning and consistent in its form. The second chapter was an investigation of the types of messages which varied between fraternity, official political and martial, etc. The third chapter is the central chapter of this research, in which we dealt with the feature of Shaheediah tree and followed the life of the author until his death. Therewith, we addressed his marvelous (al-Tawbi’ Wa al-Zawbi’ – Environs and Cyclones) attempting to emphasize its themes which are varying from anecdotal, critique, and humorous and jest, and then we concluded the research with results and recommendations. And lastly, we beg Allah (the Almighty) reconciliation and rightness.
