dc.description.abstractThe aim of this study is to identify the total count of the Hoya bacteria، and the coliform bacteria، and isolate them from the different samples of drinking water in Salama area، The study was carried out by collecting 10 samples of drinking water in Salama area، which included the following squares samples (1، 2، 3، 5، 7، 9، 1018، 16،13) ، The results of enumeration of aerobic bacteria taken from squans(5) showed the highest percentage compared to other samples (2،845*106) followed by the sample taken from square (2) by (2،5*106) ،The results of the biochemical tests showed that the numbers of klebsiella pneumoniae recorded the highest percentage (42%)، Followed by Bacillus cereus (34%) followed by Entero bacter (14%) ،The numbers of coliform bacteria E، coli was found in samples (2) and (7) by(12،5)، In this study، it was found that the following squares (3،5،13،17) (Salma area) were found to be free of E، coli and other bacteria، ie، that their habitat was safe to drink ، Squares No، (1،2،7،9،16،18) showed laboratory experiments in which drinking water was not valid With regard to the above result، the study recommends the establishment of a modern treatment and testing to determine the validity of water and the development of radical solutions for safe water and the development of bacterial infections.en_US
