dc.description.abstractThe aim of this study is to analyze and evaluate the history course for the first secondary grade,in order to identify the objectives of the history course and its diversity, to determine the suitability of the course content with the objectives, to identify the methods used and to clarify the teaching aids used in teaching. The researcher used the descriptive analytical method and used the questionnaire as a data collection tool. The study sample consisted of 30 teachers from 20 schools in Jabal Al Awliya. The researcher used statistical data to calculate the frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean and correlation coefficient of Pearson to verify the stability of the questionnaire. After processing the data statistically, the following results were obtained: 1. The objectives of the course for the first grade are clear, specific and characterized by measurable and verifiable implementation. 2. The course contains a variety of subjects and helps to acquire ethical and national values. 3. History teachers use the method of dumping. 4. Educational means and activities help to make students the focus of the educational process. 5. The calendar is consistent with objectives and provides opportunities for development and development. The study also made the following recommendations: 1. The objectives of the course should be linked to different life situations for students. 2. The topics of the content of the history course must be of historical accuracy. 3. Introducing various methods in teaching history course. 4. Providing various teaching aids at the school. 5. Students should be evaluated periodically and focused on student performance.en_US
