dc.description.abstractThis research aimed to identify the phenomenon of youth addiction to social media communication in Khartoum locality, and its relations with the variables (gender – economic position). The researcher adopted the descriptive methodology and inter-relation, the sample of the research consisted of (250) teenagers were selected randomly through social incidents, the tools of the research were measurement of addiction of social media, and measurement of psychological health, prepared by the researcher, the researcher used the statistical program (SPSS), to analyze the hypothesis, the researched reached to the following findings: the addition of teen agers to social communication in Khartoum state, there is a statistical relation between internet addiction and psychological health, and no differences of this addiction due to school achievement, neither the economic situation. In conclusion the researcher recommended; caring about pupils and teaching them how to handle with internet, and the necessity of providing cadres to raise awareness of pupils in schools, also other recommendation according to the findings of the research.en_US
