Abstract

This research is entitled on the topic THE DARKNESS IN THE QURAN The fact pushed the researcher to study on this topic the difference THE DARKNESS the holy Quran which caused difference meaning. The researcher aims at revealing the problem which centered about the clarification and the indication of the word DARKNESS in the Quran and to recognize the concept, meaning and its derivatives and talk about the three-darkness mentioned in the Quran. In this sense, the researcher concluded a set of results; the most important is what comes: That the word darkness in the Quran was mentioned in twenty-six different places within twenty-four verses That the meaning of the word DARKNESS in the Quram comes in two different meaning (moral and sensory significance) It comes on two verses of the Quran that refers to THE THREE STAGES OF FETAL DARKNESS and THE DARKNESS OF THE SEA. Therefore the holy Quran is scientific miracles and moral miracle of Islam which will exist forever
