Abstract: The objective of the research is to evaluate the manual: we and the contemporary world - the eighth grade (an assessment study) from the point of view of the teachers of Khartoum State - East Nile Locality - Haj Yusuf Administrative Unit. To learn the objective, content, teaching methods, teaching materials, used by the teacher and determining the assessment methods used in the manual (we and the contemporary world) for the eighth class Basic Level. The researcher used the descriptive analytical method and for data collect she used the questionnaire tool, and used arbitrators with expertise and experience to arbitrate questionnaire items. Statistical processing was done using the SPSS program, where the frequency and percentages were calculated; computation of the arithmetic mean was calculated. And the standard ratios were calculated based on standard values (Z( The researcher came up with the following results: 1. The educational goals of the manual (we and the contemporary world) are clear and useful to students 2. The Content of the manual ( we and the contemporary world)for Eighth class Basic Level achieves educational goals and fits the age group of students. 3. The teaching methods used for the manual (We and contemporary world) are compatible with the course. 4. The educational means used by a teacher ( we and the contemporary world) are suitable for the course. 5. The assessment methods used are multiple and achieve educational goals and fit the content and age of the students. Based on the results, the research offers a number of recommendations to the competent authorities. .1 To clarify the objectives of the manual at the beginning of the course e for students 2. Revision of the manual because part of it includes the history of southern Sudan before separation. 3. Unit six - Sudan and the future prospects - is not satisfactory where you need to activate development projects and the definition by visits program. 4. Work to provide educational means that are commensurate with the content ( we and the contemporary world) of the eighth class by the educational administration. 5. Urging teachers to involve students in the preparation of teaching aids suited to the material and to benefit from the materials and tools available in the local environment
