Abstract

Television is one of the most influential media in the world today, and performs an important vital functions for all segments of society. One of the basic tasks and functions in which television contributes is the socialization and despite the fact that the contribution of television as a mediator powerful and influential mass communication, through the participation of other multi-media, so the contribution of television is gaining a higher value because of intensity seen by children in different stage childhood and its become playing a major role in development. This research aims to find out the TV socialization of children using a sample analysis of programs depending on the method of descriptive method, and based on the results of the questions raised, which included more than 25 questions including three axes . The most important objectives of this study has consisted in addressing the effectiveness of Children program in socialization development, and it is one of the most important topics and fields that focus on children at the level of media, so to indentify an important information form the basis of reliable planning and production of children's programs to become more instrumental in achieving its objectives. This study contents of basic structure and theoretical framework, beside filed studies and also including three chapters as the question asked to identify inefficiencies and weaknesses in children’s programs in Sudan TV, also to show out the ability of these programs to achieve the function of the children socialization. The researcher found several important results: Sudan TV became in first class among the mass media in terms of impact on children in the field of socialization, and that is according to reflected by opinion researcher in that television is characterized by a high potential in the attraction and stimulate interest in the collecting between the picture and sound and motion . The study also improve that TV collecting many kinds of ideas in the children's program makes it features a composition of programmatic and structural sequence of the program and does not serve the target group that TV directed to them. So the most recommendation of this study was as the follow: the contain of the program must to be in line with there desirers, also must to promote the side that related to the technical , output , presenting . also must to be cooperated with the socialization in social and what specializes in childhood.
