Abstract

This research aims at clarifying some of the historical events that the Republic of Niger has undergone since the advent of the French colonization to independence from 1922 to 1960. This is the main motive that led the researcher to turn his attention to explore some of the incidents experienced by the state and chose to be the title of the thesis (Niger under the French administration during the period 1922 - 1960) a descriptive historical study has divided this research into four chapters in addition to the basics of research and conclusion, each chapter includes four Sections. Chapter one: deals with the nature of French colonialism and includes four Sections, the first is the concept of French colonization, the second is the motives of French colonialism and the third is the Berlin conference and its excuses. Finally, the fourth section contains the French colonies in Africa. Chapter two: deals with the situation of the Nigerian lands prior to colonialism. It also includes four Sections : political, administrative and judicial, the second is the cultural and religious situations, the third is the social conditions, Finally, the fourth Sections includes economic conditions. Chapter three: deals with the Niger in colonial times. It also contains four Sections: the first is the European exploratory missions, the second is the French military missions and the massacres, the third is the most important resistance movements of French colonialism, and the fourth is the most important liberation movements. Chapter four: discusses the political effects of French colonialism in Niger. It includes three Sections: the first is the fragmentation of political systems, the second is the political and economic subordination of the colonizer, and the third chapter contains the political and economic crises. The conclusion shows the most important findings and results.

Résumé: Cette recherche vise à clarifier certains des événements historiques qu'a connus la République du Niger depuis l'avènement de la colonisation française jusqu'à l'indépendance de 1922 à 1960. C'est le principal motif qui a amené le chercheur à s'intéresser à certains des incidents. Expérimenté par l'État et choisi pour être le titre de la recherche (Niger sous l'administration française de 1922 à 1960), une étude historique descriptive a divisé cette recherche en quatre chapitres en plus des bases de la recherche et de la conclusion. Quatre sujets. Chapitre un : traite de la nature du colonialisme français et comprend quatre thèmes, le premier est le concept de la colonisation française, le second est les motifs du colonialisme français et le troisième est la conférence de Berlin et ses excuses. Enfin, la quatrième section contient les colonies françaises en Afrique. Chapitre deux : traite de la situation des pays nigériens avant le colonialisme. Il comprend également quatre thèmes : politique, administratif et judiciaire, le second concerne les situations culturelles et religieuses, le troisième les conditions sociales. Enfin, le quatrième sujet concerne les conditions économiques Chapitre trois : traite du Niger à l'époque coloniale. Il comporte également quatre thèmes : le premier concerne les missions exploratoires européennes, le second les missions militaires françaises et les massacres, le troisième les mouvements de résistance les plus importants du colonialisme français et le quatrième les mouvements de libération les plus importants. Chapitre quatre : traite des effets politiques du colonialisme français au Niger. Il comprend trois thèmes : le premier est la fragmentation des systèmes politiques, le second est la subordination politique et économique du colonisateur, et le troisième contient les crises politiques et économiques. La conclusion montre les plus importantes résultats et les recommandations.
