dc.description.abstractThis study dealt with the impact of the secession of Southern Sudan on Sudanese national security in the period from January 2011 to December 2016. This study aims to identify the most important repercussions of the secession of southern Sudan and the national security of Sudan, and the impact on the independent state of South Sudan, and the impact on the future of the relationship with northern Sudan and the fact of the foreign stampede on southern Sudan. The importance of this study is to illustrate the impact of the secession of Southern Sudan on Sudanese national security, at the international or regional level of Sudan. This study follows the historical approach to the narrative of the historical events of the separation of Southern Sudan and the descriptive and analytical approach. The first part discusses the concept of national security. The second topic discussed the determinants of Sudanese national security. The third topic discussed the threats to the Sudanese national security. The chapter The second topic consists of three topics discussed the first topic the history of the problem of southern Sudan, the second topic the reasons for the emergence of the problem of southern Sudan, and the third section the process of secession of southern Sudan, while the third chapter contains three topics discussed the first topic, the security and military implications of the separation of the genie The second topic dealt with the role of Sudan in contributing to the stability of the South, the second topic is the cooperation between the two countries, and the third is the role of the international community in reducing disputes between the two countries. And security risks. This study has been reviewed to a number of conclusions and recommendations and perhaps one of the most important findings of this study. - Tribalism in southern Sudan has a role in internal political conflict and an active factor in the revolutions against the North. - Western countries stand with secession to achieve their agenda in Sudan to achieve their interests and to fight the growing tide of Islam in Africa. The most important recommendations of this study are: - Fighting illiteracy, spreading unity awareness, respect for the constitution and peaceful interference and putting the relationship between the two countries on the right track based on political and security cooperation and economic integration. - Cooperation with the international community, particularly the IGAD countries, to achieve peace and to promote stability in southern Sudanen_US
