dc.description.abstractThe study dealt with the environmental effects of the Central Fish Market in Khartoum. The study aimed at clarifying the reasons that lead to the lack of environment health and the means of dealing with fish waste and the means of disposal of these wastes. The study relied on interviews and observations in obtaining preliminary information. A number of interviews were conducted with a number of market participants (Both stuff and non-stuff ). the researcher relied in this study on the inductive method and case study. The result of this study is that the fish market suffers from lack of services and environmental health degradation which affect the human and the environment surrounding the market. The study recommended that must to pay attention to the services provided by the market and the health of the environment and the need to upgrade them to avoid negative environmental impacts due to these wastes.en_US
