Abstract

Abstract This study aimed at knowing the most important economic determinants that affect the growth of the agricultural sector in Sudan from 2001-2012. Also aimed at analyzing the most important variables correlation with the total output of agricultural sector, and to stand on the direction of this relationship and its statistical significance. The researcher followed descriptive and analytical approach to achieve the objectives of this research. Where he addressed the basic data from the relevant official resources, and then perform the necessary analysis and access to the results. Search has sought to verify from three hypothesizes are as follows: the agricultural sector is the most important that associate in GDP in Sudan. And agricultural finance is one of the most economic determinants for the growth of the agricultural sector. And that the contribution of the agricultural sector in GDP directly affected by the exchange rate and inflation rate.. The most important results of the research that the Sudanese economy is based on agriculture, mainly, and that the contribution of tehe agricultural sector in GDP is still retain the first position although the production of petroleum and gold. And that the financing of the agricultural sector is the most important factors that affect the growth of this sector. The impact of the exchange rate and inflation on the agricultural sector is little, though it is important, where affect the prices of incoming and outgoing. In conclusion, the study recommended that to allocate the agricultural sector with a comprehensive strategy that includes all aspects related to the growth of this sector so as to optimize the use of resources. The study also recommended the incentive to pursue fiscal and monetary policies of public and private banks to encourage them to finance the agricultural sector. And that the Ministry of Agriculture is working to plan the proper scientific agricultural season by specialists, and then put the commitment to ensure farmers mechanisms.
