Abstract

Abstract This research is address the effect of computerizing storage management on the institution performance. The researcher used the descriptive analytical methodology and case study in this research, and depend on collecting of required data to compare between the different events and important steps to study the subject of the research through analyzing the questionnaire with Statistical Packages of Social Studies (SPSS). The research concluded to a number of results most important of them ; the computerizing management in the Sudanese Petroleum Pipe Lines Company increased the efficiency of internal control systems , and achieved the exactness of information and help in swift and quality of administration and financial decisions making. Also it achieved coordination between different administrative organizations. Computerizing storage management didn't resulted in decreasing the number of work staff , so , it hadn't cause the decrease of expenses of employment , it also created problems in how to deal with the new system . Depending on the previous results the research recommends to benefit from the information provided by computerizing storage management system in the decision making process of administrative and financial decisions. The research recommended also to review the organizational policies regarding the planning and training the human resources and review of the policies of the incentives and occupation satisfaction.
