The misuse of plastic bags by people is harmful to the Environment, man & animal health, & has negative effects on the soil. The scattered plastic bags over wide areas of towns, cities and villages in the state deface these places. The study dealt with the impact of the decision banning the use of plastic bags at the state of Gaderif the state eracted laws and legislation prohibiting the use of plastic bags within it jurisdiction The decision was met by strong opposition by the citizens of the state when it was first issued .the people opposed the decision on grouds that they were not asked to take part in it nor was suitable alternative ready. But with the continuous erlighterment made by the government on the hazards of the use of plastic bags on the environment and on the health of man and animal, the people realized that the decision was correct, and expressed their willingness and readiness to cooperate in making their state beautiful and free of plastic bags.
