Abstract

This study aims to know the effectiveness of utilizing the computer in classroom education at secondary level fram the point of view of teachers in Khartoum state, sharg elneel locality. The researcher used the descriptive method in this research. The researcher used questionnaire as a tool to gather information and the researcher resolution designed for teachers to examine their views on the subject of the research. The researcher found the following results which the researcher hopes to contribute and help to make clear the importance of utilizing the computer in classroom education at secondary level: 1- Useing computer in classroom education is important at secondary level. 2- There are positive attitudes among secondary level teachers for using the computer in classroom education. 3- In general there are problems that constrain the utilizing of computer in classroom education. 4- The role of computer and high potential in the classroom education at secondary level. In light of the findings, the study recommends the following: a- Attention should be given to use the computer as a mean and method of teaching at secondary level. b- It is important to aware the community to the importance of using computer and its effective role in the development and capacity building in all areas. c- Work of training to secondary level teachers on use of computer in teaching and preparing them to keep pace with the technological development in the field of education. d- Endeavoring to provide laps of computer for using them in teaching. e- Endeavoring to provide computers in secondary schools.
