فاعلية القنوات الفضائية في تطوير التعليم المفتوح دراسة وصفية تطبيقية على فضائية جامعة السودان المفتوحة في الفترة من(يناير/ 2017- ديسمبر/2018)

Abstract

This research was conducted to study the effectiveness of satellite channels in the development of the open education by applying to the Sudan Open University satellite, to identify satellite channels as an educational tool, to use them in open education, to evaluate Sudan's Open University of using satellite channels, and the extent to which the target audience benefits from its programs. The importance of research stems from the importance of the role played by satellite channels in open education and the importance of education in the renaissance and development of peoples. The researcher followed the descriptive analytical approach because it is best suited for media research. The researcher used the questionnaire tool to collect data from the research sample, which consisted of (50) students from Sudan Open University from the various categories who were deliberately selected to answer the questionnaire. The quantitative data were statistically processed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version (16) to find the frequency, relative, average, and standard distributions of respondents' responses. The study came out with several results, the most important of which are: The channel produces and broadcasts TV educational programs suited to the academic needs of the students. The channel uses specialized and efficient human resources in the field. The study also concluded the some recommendations; the need to train teachers and provide them with the skills of television communication through specialized courses, the need to work on covering all courses, working on the selection of appropriate times that enable the public benefit from the follow-up lectures.
