Abstract

The processes of peacekeeping and peacebuilding international variation patterns and images a mechanism used by the united nations to maintain world peace and security but the changes in international situation affect the operations to became complicated. This study aimed to clarify the legal status of the peacekeepers as a part of the peacebuilding missions and clarify the legal protection imposed by the rules of international law on states to protect them from any attacks that may happen to them which surrounding nature legal immunities to enjoy before the national courts and international. Peacebuilding forces divided in to military forces and international police and civil employees. The legal status of the peacekeepers determined based on tow considerations. In the first the enjoyment peacekeepers workers under the UN flag in international which from the relationship of subordination legalistic linking between them and the UN and that they are entitled to build them to enjoy the immunities enjoyed by international staff .and the other is to international conventions that are concluded
