Abstract

Hammudah Abdalati pointed out to many of the important things related to the religion of Islam, which form the basis of Islam and represent the pillars of monotheism (monotheism of god – monotheism of divinity and monotheism of names and attributes). The meaning of Islam , articles of faith and addressed to the vital basic concepts of Islam starting with the concept of righteousness to the concept of the universe have made a fairly objective and containment for non-Muslims who sent to them these definitions and explanations in particular to defeat the distorted concepts of Islam. Islam in Focus is not devoid of a goal of love and conversion of Islam because Islam is a religion of truth, reality , peace, safety and freedom , deems contrary to some of the western authors who said that Islam is a religion of wars , terrorism , fear and slavery , and that is what prompted me to translate these texts into Arabic where it discussed and important issues and topics about Islam such as ideological foundation of Islam , practical application of faith in Islam and basic concepts of Islam . The researcher refer to the Holy Quran and prophetic traditions in order to understand the writer’s intention properly, in addition to reliance on my Islamic background were an awesome impressive experiences. The richness of vocabulary and verified terminology were took a great effort to link the meaning and concepts coherently and correctly.
