dc.description.abstractThis research took the reasons for low linguistic achievements for the basic educational level students in Eritrean Refugees’ Schools-Khartoum. The problem of the research is represented by the answer to the following question: what are the reasons for the low linguistic achievements for the basic educational level students in Eritrean Refugees' Schools-Khartoum? The main aims of the research are to know the reasons for the low linguistic achievements of the students and the contributions to improve and advance learning Arabic language. The importance of the research is represented in assisting the teachers and the school managing bodies. The researcher followed up the descriptive – analytical method and used questionnaire and interview materials. The research reached the following results: 1. The linguistic difficulties cause the low linguistic achievements. 2. The student is a factor in his/her low linguistic achievements. 3. The curriculum has a role in the low linguistic achievements. 4. The teacher has a role in the low linguistic achievements. 5. The lack of teaching aids is a factor in the low linguistic achievements. 6. The inappropriate learning environment is one of the factors in the low linguistic achievements. 7. The economic and social factors have roles in the low linguistic achievements. The main recommendations of the research: 1. Conductin a similar research on the secondary level students. 2. Considering the psychological, social and economic aspects of the students.en_US
