dc.description.abstractThe effect of Guidance and Counseling in solving Student’s problems- a case Study of Sa’adatu Rimi College of education, Kano State of Nigeria) is the Title of this Research. The Research aimed to examine the Guidance and Counseling Services that are being presented to the Students, by the Sa’adatu Rimi College of Education Guidance and Counseling Centre and so also to identify the Achievements that obtained for this purpose. The Research is guided by the specific objectives which include:- a. To examine how per the Students benefits with the Guidance and Counseling activities in solving their Personal, Educational and Social Problems. b. To testify the effects and the Role of Guidance and Counseling Services, in helping Students to achieve a sound Psychological and Educational Adjustment. To reach the Designed Aims and objectives, the Descriptive Method was adopted in treating the Topic, whereby closed end Questionnaire with five options as indicated in Likart Scale have been used as the tools of Data Collections. The population of the Research is Arabic Medium Students from Sa’adatu Rimi College of Education Kano State of Nigeria, with the total Number of 1,373 Students, out of which 100 Students have been selected as a Sampling of the Study. In view of all these efforts, the main Research Findings indicate the Following:- 1) The Statistical significant indicted that The Counseling Services in deferent areas are being presented by the Counselors for the benefit of the Students. 2) The Statistical significant indicted that deferent Methods and Strategies are being adopted in Guidance and Counseling activities. 3) The Statistical significant indicted that the Guidance and Counseling program in the College has a vital effect in helping the Students for solving their Personal, Educational and Social Problems. Finally the Researcher has presented Some Recommendations Which Includes:- 1) The Centre should put a wider Plan in Guidance and Counseling activities, for the benefit of its Clients. 2) The Centre should intensify its activities in the area which has a setback in Guidance and Counseling Services, such as Vocational, Marriage, Family and Religious Guidance and Counseling. 3) The Centre should intensify its activities in public Guidance by organizing Public Lectures, Seminars and Workshop.en_US
