| dc.description.abstract | The aim of this study to assess the performance of the Medicine Armey wastewater treatment plant and acceptability of its effluent to irrigate gardens by measurement of physiochemical and microbiological parameters comported with local and international standard. All these tests for samples which collected from medicine army were carried out in water and food quality environment of public health and emergency department in medicine army, it found that the performance of treatment for three weeks with regard of physical test of total suspended solid (TSS) (60.7%), biochemical oxygen demand, (BOD) (95.5%), chemical oxygen demand, (COD) (70.5) microbiological parameter (total bacterial count) chemical parameters (sulphite, sulphate, phosphate ,nitrogen and color ) were comply with Sudanese standard and metrology organization (SSMO), the result of these parameter were complying with (SSMO 2006) specification and maximum contamination level, quality water for sustainable agriculture and suitable for irrigation. | en_US |
