dc.description.abstractThe study examined the rules governing the conduct of combatants during armed conflict. The problem of the study was through the following questions: What are the principles governing aggressive behavior? What are the places where it is forbidden to target and attack them? The importance of the study stems from the importance of the subject as this topic is one of the most important principles of human rights as military actions that are not subject to the rules and provisions resulting in many civilian victims, so through this research will be clarified the most important rules governing the conduct of combatants during armed conflicts. The study aimed at defining warfare. The study followed the historical, descriptive and comparative approaches. The study came up with a number of results, including the determination of the punishment of the judge based on the criterion of the gravity of the crime, which helped to increase the ambiguity surrounding this principle in international criminal law. The Convention on the Prohibition of the Eradication of Humanity provides for the punishment of all perpetrators of this crime, whether the perpetrator, rulers, officials or private individuals, without guaranteeing the type of penalties that could be imposed on them. And the implementation of international humanitarian law at the regional and global levels.en_US
