dc.description.abstractThis study aims to talk about the efforts of the great warrior; Sheikh Ahmed Bemba in Islamic Thought and his role in resisting the Francophone in Senegal. The study consists of four chapters, and a set of subheadings. The first chapter provides an explanation of the theoretical framework of the research (research basics and nature). While the second chapter includes the public life of Sheikh Ahmed Bemba, and a brief overview of the historical framework in Senegal before his call in various fields (political, religious and social) The third chapter deals with Sheikh Ahmed Bemba's scientific and intellectual life, represented by his writings in various fields, as well as his efforts in education and his foundation for his renewal and reformation movement (Al-Mouridiya) As for the fourth chapter, the researcher highlighted the great role that the sheikh played in spreading the Islamic culture in Senegal, through a long resistance against French colonialism and its Francophone culture and changing the societal reality of the Senegalese people. The study then suggested a number of recommendations and concluded with indexes.en_US
