dc.description.abstractThis study aims to uncover the reasons that lead to spelling mastakes among the second stage pupils - the basic stage, Al Kamilin locality, Industries Unit. The study also aims to suggest solutions for these reasons, and the re searcher followed the descriptive approach, using a questionnaire as a tool to collect data. The study was conducted on a sample of 50 male and female teachers who were chosen in a simple random way. The researcher reached a number of results, the most important of which are: The content of the dictation course for the second stage students needs a book related to spelling skills. The teachers of the second stage are not interested in preparing for dictation lessons. The content of the dictation course for the second stage students needs to increase the shares. Not to use suspense and excitement techniques in dictation lessons. Most teachers prefer to mark outside the classroomen_US
