dc.description.abstractThe study (TV programs and their effectiveness in dealing with economic issues) dealt with an applied study on the economic event program in a Sudanese channel 24 from 2017 to 2019. The problem of the study was that economic television programs are poorly addressed in the areas of economic development by explanation and analysis, even The television treatment of these programs did not concern itself with an appropriate presentation style, especially since development cannot complete its episodes except by increasing the degree of awareness among the masses and convincing them of its importance. The study aimed to shed light on economic issues and their importance in achieving development, to examine television programs with their negatives and positives in general and economic programs in particular, to know the methods that were presented and identify the human cadre working in economic programs on television. The researcher used in this study the descriptive analytical method. The study reached several results, the most important of which is that the content of the economic event program highlights important economic issues in Sudan, as well as the idea of the program commensurate with the reality experienced by the public. The study came out with several recommendations, including: increasing the areas of economic programs on television, providing the ingredients for producing economic programs on television, and working to overcome difficulties and obstacles so that television plays its active role in economic developmenten_US
