| Abstract: | Abstract This study refers to the presentation of the curriculum of Arabic language in the French secondary schools in the city of Abeche, in accordance with the modern principles of this curriculum, in order to identify them and to show the weaknesses and shortcomings that led to the failure to achieve their objectives. This is in addition trying to fill gaps and to promote them so as to achieve everyone's satisfaction. In order to achieve this goal, the researcher relied on descriptive and analytical method for collection information. Study community consists of teachers(male& females) of Arabic language in the French secondary schools in the city of Abeche, in addition to relying on the questionnaire in collecting information from the sample, consisted (30) teachers(male& females) randomly selected. This study consists of five chapters as follows: Chapter One: Basics of Research and Previous Studies, Chapter Two: The Origins and Promotion of Arab Education in Chad, Chapter Three: Study Theoretical Framework, Concept of Curriculum and Evaluation, Chapter Four: Field Study Procedures, Chapter Five: Conclusions, Recommendations and Proposals .. Results: 1- Curriculum of teaching Arabic language used in French schools is part of the curriculum of teaching Arabic in Arab schools. 2- The views of teachers (male& females) indicate the modification of the curriculum now being developed to keep pace with other following methods . 3- This method is old and there is a lack of use of modern methods in education. Recommendations of this study are as follows: 1- Replace the current curriculum with another that is easy to use. 2- Establishing special libraries that will help teach Arabic to non- Arabic speakers. 3- Establishment of institutes specialized in teaching Arabic language, which follow advanced curricula in education Arabic language. . |
