Abstract: This study takles the issue of ethnic politici and political turmoil in Darfur.It artues that, ethnic politicization vastly influences on violent dispute among tribal groups in the region on one hand and between region’s tribes and the control government on the other hand .Thus, it aims at explanining the influene of ethnicity on the ongoing confilict in Darfur, in addition to identify political, cultural and economic aspect settling issue of ethnic politicization in the reigion.The researcher uses Multi- methods approach (eg. Historical and descriptive and analytical one),the data have been mostly obtainable from both primary and secondary sources. This includes: books,periodicals and internet such data is closely relevant to ethnic violence in Darfur. Moreover about ten individuals were interviewed by the researcher using open –ended form of interview, personal observation is also used. The paper concludes ethnic politiciantion in in the region is an outcome in the center’s policy towards the region, and pursuring of tribal eites to gain power, besides absence of proper federal governace system. It recommends the establishing founding of democratic, effective federal – constitutional system . This in order to secure an adequate power and wealth sharing as will as social cultural right for the varied ethnic groups in Sudan , Darfur in particular.
