Abstract: This research addressed the theoretical study of asceticism, its concept and impact on the Islamic call. The main challenge of the asceticism was to explain the path to purify the preachers and those who are called to Islam from the luxury of the pleasures of the world and its decoration, which is the main cause of the preachers’ weakness; the researcher aimed at showing the correct concept of the asceticism and planting it in the hearts of preachers and those who are called to Islam he also tried to reveal the role of asceticism in highlighting the Islamic call and mobilizing the preachers’ ambitions and the gathering of the related parties to facilitate the researchers and scholars, especially in the field of Islamic call. The researcher used the descriptive analytical approach in order to describe and define the asceticism and its degrees and positions as well as all the things which are related to the analysis of facts and dataas well as the inductive and deductive approaches, which is based on extrapolation of the verses and Hadiths relevant to this topic and then extract the results therein. The research was composed of the introduction, four chapters, conclusion and bibliography. In chapter one the researcher handled the research basis which included the reasons for choosing the topic, its problem, questions, hypotheses, objectives, significance, approach, research structure, and the literature review. In chapter two he dealt with the concept of asceticism, its types, rule, significance, benefits, positions, degrees, signs and its acquisition means and the way it is reported in the Holy Quran and the Sunnah.
