Abstract: This study deals with class activity and its role in the promote of thinking skills, and the researcher limited the study in some skills of cognitive thinking, the skill of collecting and organizing information problems solution and skills of remembering and analysis. The researcher used the analytical descriptive method because it is suitable to the nature of this study. The questionnaire was used as a tool for collecting information from the research sample represented in (38) teachers ( male & female) randomly selected from the study community of (94) teachers in Khartoum State - Khartoum Locality . The most important results are: 1- Class activities associated with chemistry in the book of second classsecondary school- is clear for the teacher. 2- There is a lack of classroom activities of an individual nature, or those that are performed by students on their own with short activities of a collective nature. 3- There are no classroom activities in the book can be used to provide the student’s skill of solving problem . 4- Class activities associated with chemistry have a significant role in the development of thinking skills. 5- The method of scientific presentations, cooperative education, research and other classroom activities related to chemistry development in the student skills of collecting and organizing information. 6- Class activities of the chemistry in the second class - secondary schoolwhich is the drawings, designing models and others, develop in the student the skill of analysis. 7- The presentation of drawings, experiments and other classroom during teaching operation which develop in the student the skill of remembering. 8- Must to design the model of chemical complex and must to use photos which help student to promote the skill of combination between the chemical complex . According to what been mentioned of results, the researcher recommends the following: 1- interest in classroom activities related to chemistry, which develop the skills of thinking and the integration of a reasonable amount in the curriculum. 2- Help teachers to activate these activities through financial and moral support. 3- Continuing training of the teacher to practice classroom activities. 4- Incorporate as much cognitive thinking skills into the curriculum. 5- the need to have cadres designated to practice activities in schools as much as possible
