Abstract: ABSTRACT Writing skills are an integral part of Arabic language; Because they regulate and arrange what is read and written, and through which the intended meaning of any listen, read or written phrase is understood completely. This study aimed at highlighting the importance of writing skills in Arabic language teaching for the speakers of other languages, and intended to contribute in addressing the writing related weakness of the non-native Arabic speakers. the researcher depended on descriptive analysis method, hence she used the following study tools: questionnaire for a number Arabic language teachers for its non-native speakers, and interviews with experts in the field. The research took place at the female students' center of Arabic Language Institute (advanced stage) of International University of Africa. The researcher used SPSS program for the statistical process of the data obtained from the questionnaire and interviews, and concluded to many findings of which the most important ones were: • There is less interest in training on the use of writing skills in their correct places. • Showing interest in writing skills would help the non-Arab learners to realize language proficiency. • Proper use of writing skills would help to understand the meaning. • Good teaching methods would help the learners in Mastery of writing skills. • Being the teachers versed in writing skills would help the learners in writing processes. • The use of teaching aids would help the learners to put the writing skills in their correct places. • Lack of teacher training on teaching methods of non-Arabic-speaking is the cause of negligence in writing skills. The researcher put forward a number recommendations among which the important ones were: • The functional aspect of the use of writing skills should be highlighted. • The learner should be trained on writing skills in the writing.
