| Abstract: | This study was applied to the employees of the channel. The researcher followed the analytical descriptive method, especially since this approach is objective and impartial, and to reach accurate results, based on the simple random sample system. Where the size of the sample in this research 50 items were distributed to employees of the channel in various departments and sections. The researcher relied on secondary sources as tools for collecting data and information from books, documents, university papers, etc., as well as on primary sources of scientific inquiry, interviews and observation. The study sought to reach a number of objectives, including: Determine the contribution of public relations in Africa channel. To identify the obstacles that limit the efficiency of the public relations function in the media institutions, to identify the advantages and weaknesses in the work of the Department of Public Relations and its relationship with the other departments of Africa Satellite Channel. his study consists of four chapters each semester, which is based on three topics. The researcher reached through this study a number of results, the most important of which are: 1 - The Department of Public Relations seeks to achieve the objectives of the institution through its various programs. 2 - The study proved that the public relations department of the channel understand the nature of the internal audience, and this reflects the interest of the Department of Public Relations to the public. ز 3. It is also evident from the study that the majority of the staff of the African Space Channel have university qualifications and postgraduate qualifications, which confirms their high level of education and the accuracy of the information they mentioned. The researcher also made a number of recommendations, the most important of which are: 1 - It is necessary to recruit workers in the channel and push them to participate in activities conducted by the Department of Public Relations, it leads to the interaction of employees with these activities, and this leads to the promotion and improvement of performance. 2 - Work to increase the qualified personnel in the management of public relations, and to ensure the provision of adequate budgets and the development of clear-cut plans. 3 - Interested in selecting the best human cadres to work in the field of public relations in terms of qualifications and taking into account the specialty in consideration. |
