أثر السياسات العامة على التنمية: دولة تشاد نموذجا 1996-2014م

Abstract

This research studies the general policies and their impact on development (Chad as a case study), and aims to define the general policies and their types also development, types and obstacles. The research highlights the development happened in Republic of Chad between 1990-1996 and the impact of the general policies on the process of development in the research focus on studying the general policies pursued by the Chadian government to achieve development in the country and the results that have been reached during the time of this research, beside analyzing the challenges and prospects of the Chadian general policies. The researcher used the descriptive analytical method beside the historical and legal method and the case study method. The most important result of this research was the local and international events which have been accrued in the end of 20th century and the beginning of the 20 first centaury which played a vital role in choosing the general policies of development in Chad and determining its goals. General policies of development in Chad focused essentially on primary sectors which put the country among the least developing countries on the world and prevented Chad from developing a lot of vital sectors. The research recommend applying more anti-corruption policies, to overcome the danger of corruption which disrupt the process of development in all aspects of life from independence to this time, also corruption is the main factor in preventing investing in countries with high rates of corruption. Finally the research recommended activating new laws aimsing to encourage more internal and external investment and achieving development.
