Abstract

The study on the economic and social impact of rain on the Comoros. The study aimed to identify the economic and social effects of rainfall in the greater Comoros. It also aimed to identify the areas most affected by these rains in an at-tempt to avoid reducing their effects an in-depth study in the collection of information published bilaterally and unpublished. The problem of the study eliminates the frequent exposure of areas to heavy rains, which affects the economic and social aspects of the region. The study assumes that the lack of sound planning on the Greater Como-ros has increased the magnitude of the disaster and assumes that the ex-posure of areas of economic importance increased the size of the losses. The study concluded that the heavy rain that struck In the region The year 2012 was the most affected by the region and thus lost from the re-gion a lot of economic resources that affected the social aspects of the region Heavy rains have also spread epidemics and diseases in the region and have led to the collapse of agricultural land and the loss of animals lead-ing to an increase in unemployment in society. The study recommended the development of a long-term strategic plan to address the heavy rains in Comoros in order to reduce its effects. He also recommended that the community be made aware of the dangers of heavy rainfall and mitigate its effects and that early warning methods be activated.
