أدب الخطاب في القرآن: دراسة تطبيقية في سورة البقرة

Abstract

This research is a descriptive analytical study that focuses on the discourse in the Holy Quran and titled The Literature of Speech in the Holy Quran (an application study from Surat Al-Baqarah). The researcher divided her research into five chapters and a conclusion. The primary objective of the research is to put forward the Literature of Speech in the Holy Quran, especially those in Surat Al-Baqarah. The research dealt with the concept of the literature of the discourse and its types and the words of scholars and showed that the purpose of the discourse literature in the Holy Quran is to teach the believers the ethics of speech and how to talk to others according to their ranks, levels and affiliations. During the study, the researcher extracted some verses from Surat Al-Baqarah in which Allah SW talked to the Angels, Prophets, Believers, and polytheists, and then explained at length by deriving the rhetoric concept in it. The study actually found out that the literature of the discourse in the Holy Quran indicates the miracle of the Koran and that some verses from Surat Al-Baqarah preserved the art of discourse at varying levels and degrees of angels and human beings. The study also described that most rhetorical verses in this Surah are those verses in which Allah SW talked to believers, Ahlul Kitab, Our prophet, and then to polytheists, our Father Adam, and then to the Angels and our prophet Ibrahim peace be upon him. The study also mentioned some verses some of the descriptions of the hypocrites although there is no direct discourse addressed to them. The researcher believes that this subject (the Literature of Discourse in the Holy Quran - applied study) is still an area of research because it is a fertile subject worth searching at different angles and multiple aspects. Therefore, the researcher suggests that this subject should be dealt with in a deeper and higher scientific study so that its areas can be grasped and some of the verses in which the commentators differed are discussed.
