Abstract

This study addressed the topic educational planning in improving the educational process in the committee of Qur`anic schools in Nairobi the year 2017. This study aimed to identify the role of the educational planning in improving the educational process through: The performance of teachers in Qur`anic schools, the needs of the pupils in Qur`anic schools, the curriculum of Qur`anic schools, and the environment of Qur`anic schools. The researcher used the descriptive analytical method and she used the questionnaire as the data device. The study population was comprised of all committee Qur`anic schools which is a total of seventy schools and selected a sample of thirty-five teacher’s results were analyzed by S.P.S.S program. The study reached the following results: - -In Qur`anic school s there are friendly relations between teachers practice according to class management during teaching and planning develops teaching methodology in implementing the curriculum and planning provides janitorial services in Qur`anic schools. From these findings, the researcher recommended the following instructions; The used to strengthen student’s bodies through activities, connecting students with the society through extracurricular activities, need to know the appropriateness of the curriculum to the modern needs of the society and needs to know the stand of the pupils about the curriculum.
