Abstract: This study provides an important description of the methodology used by Imam Ibn Khuzaymah and Imam Ibn Hibban in composing the Shahih, as well as in explaining the conditions for the making of a hadith, and in explaining the conditions for receiving a narration from a narrator (One who narrated) hadith. It has been mentioned also the characteristics and superiority of the two Imams recognized by other Imams as well as the scholars of hadith, explaining the superiority of the two Shahih Books composed by both of them and followed by an explanation of the similarities and differences between the two in formulating the methodology of the Scripture. The introduction of the second profile of the Imam is at the beginning of the book, it begins with the introduction of the two names of Imams, both of their nickname, their family tree, the year of their birth, the growth of their lives, the journey of their students life, the names of their teachers, the scholar's recommendation and praise to them, their point of view of scholarship, the aqidah of both, the madhhab shared by both, and the year of their death. The study also provides an introduction to the two books of Shahih composed by both the Imam Shahih's book of Imam Ibn Khuzaymah and the Book of Shahih by Imam Ibn Hibban begins with the naming of the two books, the causes he wrote, the important role of the banning of the two books, the position of the two books according to scholars and Hadist scholars, and any books that can help to understand the two books. In this study some Hadiths are mentioned from the Shahih Ibn Khuzaymah and the Shahih Ibn Hibban which is accompanied by an explanation of the Imams' way of narrating the hadith, and the way the two Imams in arranging the hadith in his book, and the way the two Imams criticize a Hadist or justify it, and the way the two Imams in explaining the causes contained in a hadith. The research then provides an understanding of the comparison of the methodology of the Shahih's authoring between Imam Ibn Khuzaymah and Imam Ibn Hibban either in writing the contents of the Book, or in the transmission of an influential hadith in both books. The study also provides an explanation of various scientific disciplines that are closely related to the study of hadith, such as study in criticizing and justifying a narrator, the study of the causes of transmission of hadith, the study of the term in the study of hadith, and the study of history. There are several research results and some recommendations that can be concluded, and most importantly: That the Shahih Ibn Khuzaymah and the Shahih Ibn Hibban are declared as one of the most important and useful scriptures in the study of hadith, that the methodology of the two Imams in writing the Shahih is stated as a methodology that is true by the Imams and scholars of hadith that their two Sahihs are regarded as the most correct Book in the collection of hadith after the Shahih Al-Bukhari and Shahih Muslim, although in the two books there are still some hadith that have not reached the degree of Shahih. Then this study provides recommendations and advice to the readers to learn more about these two Books of Shahih Ibn Khuzaymah and Kitab Shahih Ibn Hibban, because there are many useful lesson to be taken therein.
