| Abstract: | This study is talking about the protection of the rights of civilians under military occupation. It also includes civilians, families and protected groups in international humanitarian law. The study also talkabout the protection of civilians in Islamic law and applications in the current era, that because the international community in recent years witnessed international armed conflicts transmitted by different media agencies and highlighted the non-compliance of the conflicting countries with legal rules. Islam provides protection for civilians, women, children, elders, clerics and workers, while they do not participate in hostilities. In case of they participate; their killing Permissible. As well as it was necessary to kill them, such as they were among the fighters, considering determination of necessity. It takes the rule of members of medical units, This provision is also in international law;that States are willing to fulfill their fundamental obligations to respect and enforce respect for international humanitarian law in all circumstances considering in particularthe vul-nerability of the civilian population and the responsibility of States that violate international humanitarian law. |
