| Abstract: | Researcher name: Aisha Al Nour Abdel Aziz Issa. The aims of this research is to discover the relationship between creative thinking and the level of ambition among adolescents in Khartoum governmental and geographical secondary schools in Jabal Awlia Azhari unit, The researcher applied the correlation descriptive method in carrying out this research.The sample size was (604) students, (394) from governmental schools, (65) from the model schools and (145) from the private schools, they were selected purposively. The tools of data collection consist of the following parts: creative thinking Scale prepared by Sayed Khairallah, and the level of ambition scale prepared by Kamelia Abd alfatah modified by the researcher. The data was analyzed by statistical package for the social sciences (SPSS) program using the following tests: Test (T) for one sample, Test (T) for two unequal samples, one way analysis test (ANOVA) Pearson correlation coefficient, Crocsal wells test and Sperman Brown test. The most important results of the research are as follows: The general trait of creative thinking among adolescents in secondary schools is low; there is no statistical correlation between creative thinking and the level of ambition, while there is a positive relationship in the psychological dimension and fluency of adolescents Secondary schools in Khartoum state. There are no statistically significant differences in creative thinking among adolescence and the variable of gender; there are no differences in creative thinking among adolescents in secondary schools state according to the variable age. There are no differences in the creative thinking among adolescents and the variable of birth order except in the dimension of fluency in favor of the middle order. There are differences in the fluency, originality and overall score except in the flexibility in favor of the governmental secondary school. There are no differences in the creative thinking of adolescents according to the level of parents education, there is creative thinking of adolescents in secondary schools Khartoum State Jabal Awlia Alazhari unit according first, second and the third class favour class one. Finally, recommendations such as; families and the school should pay attention for developing creative thinking skills among adolescents, counseling and guidance programs should guide adolescents to raise their motivation and level of ambition, secondary schools should create a stimulating environment for the students to develop their creative thinking and the level of ambition. |
