Abstract: The Parliament has the right to administer the affairs of the state as a Constitutional institution through the performance of all its competencies which reflect the concept of cooperation and balance that underlies the principle of the difference between powers within the State. the study aimed at clarifying the parliamentary control and the role it plays in order to promote the performance of the governmental institutions, so in order to achieve this objective, the researcher used analytical descriptive as the method of this study, in addition to the questionnaire as a tool for the study by distributing the questionnaire to the leadership and members of the Sudanese National Assembly. The questionnaire was analyzed using the statistical program (spss) to ascertain the results of the study. The main results of this study are as Follows: It turns out that Parliamentarians effectively use the monitoring tool .Parliamentary control helps to improve and promote the tool of government institutions. Leaders and membership of the Council have considerable experience. The main recommendations of this study are as Follows: Management committees need to cadres with high efficiency. Prepare a guide for Parliamentarians how to use the means of control. Training Parliamentarians on developments in scientific and practical Fields to spread the parliamentary culture .
