دور الإستثمار المحلي في تطوير الصناعة قطاع الزيوت دراسة حالة 2005م – 2016م

Abstract

The study tackled the role of local investment in the development of the edible oil sector (case study) during the period (2005 - 2016). The aim of the research is to know the contribution of the edible oil industry to the economy and to clarify the obstacles that hinder the development of productive capacity of the industrial sector. The research is based on several hypotheses، including a statistically significant relation between local investment and industry development. There is a relationship between the role of the industrial sector and its contribution to the economy. There are many results obtained the most important of which is the lack of optimal utilization of Sudan's large and diverse agricultural potentials and adapting them to achieve the well-being of its people، achieving food security for Sudan، and the weak interconnectivity between the agricultural and industrial sectors has led to economic instability، increased poverty and unemployment، and inadequate requirements for sustainable development. Vegetable oils are also a renewable food product for all households and are essential components of human food and are of economic benefit to farmers and traders in the field of local and international consumption. And that Sudan has the largest area cultivated with oily grains in the Arab world، but the productivity of feddan recorded a lower number compared to global production rates. The establishment of the necessary infrastructure for the vegetable oil industry in Sudan and work on developing the existing plant technology through benefiting from the research centers in the country. The research came out with a number of recommendations including providing the necessary financing for the industrial establishments، studying the international experiences similar to the country's economies and working on the development of trained human cadres through the establishment of training projects and benefiting organizations and to benefit from scientific research in the application of technical packages to increase the production and agricultural productivity of oilseed crops. Establishment of a mechanism between industrial producers and agricultural producers working to increase productive efficiency to ensure the strengthening of the link between the front and back between the sectors of agriculture and industry to ensure the flow of production and reduce poverty and create employment opportunities to achieve the goals of sustainable development.
